In addition to his expertise in economic law, Dominique Andrieux is well versed in the management of national and international projects, particularly in the industrial fields, he also intervenes in the fields of agri-food law with specific experience in the cooperative world.

His professional experience as an internal board of directors and boards of directors of large groups, will allow him to assist you in your reflections of Governance and strategy for the management of your organizations and projects (Governance, CSR and Risk Management).

Dominique Andrieux studied business law, as well as training in Anglo-American law (DEJAA) at the University of Clermont-Ferrand until 1980.

After teaching comparative law at the University of Detroit School of Law (USA) from 1980 to 1981, Dominique Andrieux pursued a career as a manager and then as a legal director in various industrial sectors, starting with the oil metal construction sector.

In addition to training stints in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector (VIRBAC) and textile equipment manufacturers (LECTRA), he spent eleven years in the MICHELIN Group in charge of international cases, and then in the European coordination in business law.

Dominique Andrieux joined the legal profession in 1998, joining the law firm FIDAL, France’s leading law firm. He was involved in the national management of economic law and intellectual property, and as Associate Director, he managed the department in charge of these subjects at the Regional Central Directorate.

His last professional experience with the Limagrain Group has led him to manage cross-cutting legal teams globally, at headquarters and through 14 “Business Unit” as Group Legal Director, and to assist executives and operations in their activities.

From 1996 to 2010, Dominique Andrieux was a lecturer at the Clermont-Ferrand Graduate School of Business with the Master II of International Project Management, as well as with various Legal or Economic Masters (International Competitiveness) of Clermont-Ferrand University I and II.

Dominique Andrieux was Chairman of the Auvergne Committee of French External Trade Advisors from 2006 to 2013.

Dominique Andrieux is a Mediator and he completed CMAP training in 2009. He is a member of the National Association of Ombudsman (ANM).

Amrep Group

Upon his return from the United States, Dominique Andrieux was recruited by a manufacturer of offshore oil platforms and began to travel the world to negotiate international contracts for work (West Africa, Nigeria, Norway, England…).

1983 - 1986

Legal Officer
Virbac

In order to evolve and expand his skills, Dominique Andrieux joins the Virbac Laboratory in Nice. Dr. Dick and Secretary General Boissy recruited him to be the first legal leader of this group, which is still in its emergence phase.

He strengthened his skills in economic law – a subject that was emerging at the time – by taking Professor Farjat’s courses in Nice and strengthened his intellectual property knowledge.

1986-1992 and 1994-1998

International Legal Director
Michelin Group

Philippe Croizat – Legal Director World Michelin and who will become his mentor – proposes to Dominique Andrieux to join the Michelin legal team. Auvergnat by birth and heart, Dominique Andrieux does not hesitate and joins this company with enthusiasm.

Overall he spent a total of just over 11 years there and participated in many major projects, including the reorganization of the group in 1996. Dominique Andrieux continues his international missions in the USA – Maghreb – Syria – India – Europe – Asia – West Africa – East Countries – Russia.

Working at the Clermont headquarters, he developed his expertise in group functional coordination.

1992 - 1994

Legal Director
Lectra

Dominique Andrieux becomes Legal Director of Lectra thanks to the takeover of this group by an investor and joins the management team. He then experimented with the reality of post-acquisition integrations.

He will continue to negotiate various contracts and litigation internationally: North Africa – USA-Japan- Hong Kong – Singapore….

1998 - 2010

Associate Director
Law firm Fidal

While his career did not predestine him to become a lawyer, Dominique Andrieux was recruited in 1998 by the law firm Fidal and quickly became Associate Director in charge of the Economic and International Law Department. He complements his experience and focuses on consulting in economic law and innovation, as well as in international operations.

This leading firm allows him to strengthen his technical skills in his chosen fields, thanks in particular to a close contact with Professor Didier Ferrier, Fidal’s economic law advisor.

He is also entrusted with the coordination of the offices of the Greater South-East Region in economic law and very often travels abroad with at least one week a month in Asia or the Indian Ocean.

2011 - 2017

Group Legal Director and Director of Progress (compliance)
Limagrain Group

In 2011, the Limagrain Group called on Dominique Andrieux to organize, develop and manage its global legal team, which gives it the opportunity to draw on its experience of coordinating transverse functional networks.

He then oversees and coordinates several functions: Legal, Insurance, Security/Security, CSR, Risk Management and GMO Quality Insurance.

The development of the Limagrain group being very important during these years Dominique Andrieux intervenes live or in relation with his teams in many acquisition projects in France and internationally (Thailand – South Africa – Poland – USA … ).

2018 - 2019

Managing partner
Labonne and ACDP

After his mission at Limagrain, Dominique Andrieux asserts his rights in retirement, without stopping work. As part of a job-retirement combination, Dominique Andrieux re-registered at the Bar and joined Dominique Adenot at Labonne et Associates to develop economic and international law.

2020 - Present

By creating this new firm with a partner who has the same goals and whom he knows since university, Dominique Andrieux finally has the opportunity to put into practice his achievements and convictions forged during a career dedicated to companies and internationally.

Its approach is now focused on a more global vision of the law as a strategic tool for managers and which must include a compliance approach.
